  One of our favorite places to eat and visit with family in Colorado. Staff is normally very attentive and prices are great. Large areas for families to get together and enjoy each others company.

  Very warm welcome. Our server Rick took great care of us and was even able to share a little about Black Eyed Pea's history. (He's worked there over 20 years) The food was good home style cooking. My friend got the salmon, which is not a typical dish there, but she was pleasantly surprised. The chicken fried steak was good as well, which is a more typical plate there. It's best paired with their mashed potatoes, and I must say those were my favorite part of the meal.

  Been to this location twice and so far the staff isn't as friendly. Not to say rude exactly but more the type of "When you ask for more food, place an order, etc it feels as if they brush u off". Not such good service either for refilling drinks. Please note we've had the same waiter both times (can't remember his name) so this doesn't include the rest of the waiters/waitresses. The hostess both times wasn't as friendly (kinda like shy high school behavior), though important, it doesn't faze us, as we don't have to deal with them after we sit.
  The food is of course great (wish the veggie portions were a bit bigger), so thumbs up to the chef/kitchen staff!
  Best Black Eyed Pea location outta the 5 we've been to has gotta be the Denver one off Wadsworth. OMG the staff is friendly and professional. If I gotta say 1 negative, it would be the general manager is too talkative (the type to sit at your table and converse about whatever happens to be of convo. It's just not our sorta thing/or we're used to). He is super friendly though!

  Good southern cooking headlines a broad and varied menu. There are lots of side dishes available, not to mention delicious rolls and cornbread for the table. The desserts, if you have room, are excellent. The only negative: the service (at least this time) was extremely slow.
